An unsuccessful attempt to ford Sandon Brook

Apparently the all female crew of this car attempted the transit not long before I arrived, when the depth gauge was showing 3 ft. They were trying to summon help by phone, but nobody seemed to want to get involved. Eventually a local hero rescued the girls but the car remained. I will not comment further.
