Holmhurst St Mary's was once the home of Augustus Hare (see
http://www.umilta.net/holmhurst1.html ). He made many additions to the property, including garden statuary of good provenance (eg a Francis Bird statue of Queen Anne that once stood outside St Paul's Cathedral). This is mentioned in Ms Joanna Lumley's biography - she was a scholar at the convent school there in the late 1950's (see
http://augustus-hare.tripod.com//lumley.html ). I understand the school has now closed and the property may have been redeveloped. Are the artefacts Hare installed still present and accessible to be photographed?
