Roach Valley Way

The Roach Valley Way is a 23 mile long trail around south East Essex which takes in a variety of landscapes including the ancient woodlands of Hockley and the coastal margins of the Roach and Crouch estuaries.

River Crouch

The River Crouch flows entirely with in Essex. It rises at Little Burstead and flows east to meet the North Sea, north of Foulness Island. It is navigable from its mouth to Battlebridge (17 miles).
