taken 12 years ago, near to Juniper, Northumberland, England

Ford on Rowley Burn at Blackhall Mill
Many of the fords on the original Hexhamshire roads were eventually converted to bridges except for a few on unpaved or little used lanes. Blackhall Mill could be approached from Juniper to its north and the bridge built at Dye House could be used to safely cross the Rowley Burn in times of flood.
