The remains of the former Ewart Liddell factory seen from Moygannon Lane. Now listed and described (in detail) in this link LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . Disused and with no immediate prospect of any alternative use I have added it to my unofficial list of buildings at risk. John Shaw Brown, linen manufacturer

John Shaw Brown was born in Helenís Bay in 1823. He established linen mills at Donaghcloney and the St Ellen Works, Edenderry, Co Down. He died in Gosforth, Cumberland in 1922. He was cremated but several members of his family are buried at Donaghcloney.
