Shingle banks, sea kale and seagulls
Crambe maritima is the glaucus green plant under the flying seagull, its common name is sea kale or seakale. It's a member of the cabbage family Brassicaceae. The shingle banks at Dungeness on which the kale is growing are formed by longshore drift. The gulls are mostly immature Herring Gulls.
