Stone 'square' north west of Bordley
Given the short limestone turf it wasn't hard to spot these upright stones forming a rough quadrilateral (that's a four-sided shape kiddies) although the easternmost one has fallen on its side. It isn't marked on the maps which don't show any antiquities nearby so it probably isn't anything ancient. They do sit around a shallow shakehole which, today at least, had a small pool in it. Maybe they mark a drinking supply although why would sheep need marker stones to find it?
