Footbridge over the River Ogmore, Sarn

The bridge is for the use of cyclists as well as those on foot, and National Cycle Route 885 passes over it. That route, which runs northwards from Bridgend, ends upon meeting National Cycle Route 4 just on the other side of the bridge.

The Ogmore Valley Community Route also passes over the bridge and on the other side continues eastwards (to the right) close to the river on a path which is also a part of National Cycle Route 4. Having run near the river for the several miles from Blackmill, the latter route heads away from it on the other side of the bridge via a path towards Tondu which passes alongside the row of rugby ground floodlights seen in the middle distance.
