Midday, New Year's Day 2013
Midday, New Year's Day 2013
A new standing stone! the rock is ancient but the location of it is new, "planted" last summer to be precise, found this lovely rock lower down on the land, it was too long for what I required, but the base was flat and square to the stone, so I stood it up!! it stands about 1.6M high, and it is heavy, when the stone is wet from a slightly different direction it has the appearance of a red kite's head looking up, the eye, is a piece of moss growing in a hollow.
