New Year's Day on the Trans Pennine Trail
New Year's Day on the Trans Pennine Trail
Through Hyde, the Trans Pennine Trail and National Cycle Route #62 follows the line of the former Godley Junction to Apethorn railway. The bridge ahead carries the A627, Dowson Road. There is nearly always a large puddle under the bridge and the track on the right (for horseriders) is something of a quagmire. The dog has sensibly walked around the puddle and is waiting for his mistress to catch up. Taken shortly after midday on New Year's Day 2013.
