taken 11 years ago, near to Fishpool, Bury, England

Footbridge at Warth
Footbridge at Warth
This bridge, originally built for the East Lancashire Railway, also provided a footbridge crossing over the River Irwell at the old Bury and Radcliffe boundary before nearby SD7909 : Warth Bridge, River Irwell was built downstream in the 1930s. The footbridge is in this metal "cage" under the deck of the main bridge which is now part of the Metrolink tramway.
