Path beside Beverley Brook on Mill Corner, Wimbledon Common

This muddy path leads beside the stream on the eastern fringes of Wimbledon Common, from Coombe Lane towards Kingston Vale.

The stream is about 2 metres below the path, with a steep bank between.

It passes around a section of land called Mill Corner (presumably the site of an old watermill!).

Beverley Brook

Beverley Brook is a minor urban river about 14 km long located in south-west London. It rises at Cuddington Recreation Park in Worcester Park, flows through Motspur Park, New Malden, Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park and Barnes. It then joins the River Thames near Putney Bridge at Barn Elms.
