NZ9108 : Mile post at Stainsacre

Mile post at Stainsacre
Mile post at Stainsacre
This shows that the lane through Stainsacre used to be the main road. It is interesting in that it was erected not by the county council but by the Whitby Strand Highways District. It is an iron post, not fastened to a stone.
