Train at Southburn Dene viaduct, 1968
Train at Southburn Dene viaduct, 1968
I think this freight train is being hauled by an English Electric type 4 locomotive; open to correction. The viaduct is also shown in NZ2749 : Southburn Dene railway viaduct, 1968. On the right is Moor Cottage, a house beside the A167, together with an adjacent field above the Dene. Black and white image from a colour slide.
