Fording the river outside Lairig Leacach Bothy
Winter has made fording the river simultaneously easier by providing a wider hard surface, and harder by making it and the rocks somewhat slippy. Sadly the ice isn't as thick as one might wish and care needs to be taken to avoid falling through it.
