Fauldhouse railway station
Having set the photographer down, "Sprinter" diesel unit 156505 departs for the rest of its "all-stations" journey to Glasgow Central. The unit is in the fairly short-lived carmine and cream livery adopted by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. Beyond the brick-built relay room that contains signalling control equipment, the building with the long grey roof is a storehouse for the Scottish Prison Service.
