Hay storage at Ettington Park
This hay stack, about 20 feet high, has been here for some time. See the wider view SP2547 : Possible hay/straw storage area. It looks precarious, and there are gaps like this in the whole structure. I would not recommend trying to get through here, and we were pleased when we were far enough away in case the whole lot toppled over.
Shakespeare's Way
Shakespeare's Way is a 146 mile long distance footpath from Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon to the Globe theatre in London. It follows as nearly as possible a route that Shakespeare may have taken between the two, but using footpaths, quiet lanes and towpaths, rather than his tracks, which are today's main roads.
