Geograph - photograph every grid square

A view across the Promenade just south of the Tower at 10pm. A heavy snowstorm had swept across the north of England from the west coast - although right on the coast here it was sleety, 20 miles inland a foot of snow fell in two hours, causing havoc on the M6. We would wake up in the morning to those annoying slushy pavements which are not slippery but where the water penetrates ordinary shoes however much one tries to prevent it.
