See NZ0149 : St. Edmund's Church, Edmundbyers. It always amazes me how few rectors there have been for these ancient churches. St. Edmunds dates from the middle of the 12th C, but the list (with a few small time gaps) covers nearly 800 years during which time there were only 44 rectors - and some of them served for quite short periods.
