Can you spot the odd one out?
Can you spot the odd one out?
In this row of No.38 buses at Victoria Bus Station.
The second bus with the rounded back (and front) windows is one of the eight new NB4L Wright Gemini 2's have been bought for the route.

This is also known as Boris Bus, brought in to replace the 'hated' bendy buses.

This is on Route 38 between Victoria and Clapton Pond. They queue-up waiting for their departure time - normally every 2-3 minutes.
The Boris buses only go so far as Hackney Central before returning to Victoria.

The port-a-cabins above are part of the Crossrail Construction works taken place at the nearby railway station.
Boris Bus

This is a 21st century replacement of the iconic Routemaster as a bus built specifically for use in London. Designed by Heatherwick Studio, it is built by Wrightbus, and features the 'hop-on hop-off' rear open platform of the original Routemaster, but meets the requirements for modern buses to be fully accessible. The first bus entered service on 27 February 2012.

See LinkExternal link for more specific details on the bus.
