Marley Bottom
Marley Bottom
Marley Bottom is the dry valley through which the road from Winfrith Newburgh to West Lulworth passes. The soil is very white due to the presence of chalk. This field had been ploughed and tilled and probably seeded but no crop was yet showing through.
