Overturned crane
Overturned crane
This crane overturned on the 2nd February 2013 having been directed onto the wrong road out of the forest and ending up on the narrow, winding C-class road between Dalavich and Ford.
The crane was working on the Carriag Ghael wind farm site (LinkExternal link ) and should have taken the West Loch Awe Timber Haul Route out to the A816 at Salachary.
The crane was recovered on Sunday, 10th February, which operation required the road to be closed for the day.
