St Mary's Street and Stamford Theatre
The theatre (1768) is in the centre, on the right-hand side of the street. "Broad doorways and broken pediment. Above this an arched and alternatingly rusticated window. To the l and r on the ground floor a doorway and square window, and above these a pair of lugged windows" (Nikolaus Pevsner and John Harris).
