Kendal Parish Church, Holy Trinity
Kendal Parish Church, Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity Church, at Kendal, is the largest church in Cumbria, regularly accommodating a congregation of around 1100 during the nineteenth century.

The earliest parts of the church date from the thirteenth century although an earlier church was recorded in the 1086 Domesday Survey. According to the plaque on the gatepost, the main fabric of the church was built between 1400 - 1600 when the town's cloth trade was at its peak.

The church is a Grade I listed building.
