Out for a walk, Warton Crag Quarry
Out for a walk, Warton Crag Quarry
A young family go for a walk beneath the towering rock walls of the disused limestone quarry on a warm, spring-like afternoon. The quarry is now a nature reserve and is a popular place for recreation due to its location and ease of access. The floor of the quarry has been grassed over around a spacious car park and several tracks laid out suitable for prams and those with limited mobility.
