SD6975 : Swaledale sheep above Kingsdale

taken 12 years ago, 3 km from Westhouse, North Yorkshire, England

Swaledale sheep above Kingsdale
Swaledale sheep above Kingsdale
These ewes followed me up the track towards Tow Scar hoping for a handout. This is common behaviour in winter when the grass is not growing and anything on two legs is viewed as a meal ticket. Snow-streaked Ingleborough rises beyond the projecting spur of Twisleton Scar End.
