Gillbeck Foot
Gillbeck Foot
A glance at a map might suggest that a walk along the banks of the Greta through the trees would be a pleasant stroll. Wrong! The walk in from Rutherford Bridge is muddy, slippery, tortuous and at times precipitous- not suitable for a family day out. The last straw is, having slithered down the path to Gillbeck Foot, no bridge just a tricky step and jump across the gill.
