Sunny Dentdale and the Howgill Fells
Sunny Dentdale and the Howgill Fells
A zoom shot from the upper flank of Crag Hill. Prominent is the wooded cleft of Helmside Gill with the rounded shapes of the Howgills beyond. The cold conditions have even allowed a brief glimpse of distant Cross Fell in the North Pennines just right of centre.
