NO2019 : Reedbeds by the River Tay

taken 12 years ago, near to Chapelhill, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

Reedbeds by the River Tay
Reedbeds by the River Tay
Extensive reedbeds on the north bank of the Tay, with hills in Fife situated on the south of the Tay visible in the distance. The Tay estuary contains the largest area of reedbed in the UK - this can be seen to good effect from the footpath that runs eastward from Carnie Pier along the riverbank.
