An entrance to the Greenway, West Ham
One of several entrances to the routeway perched atop the Northern Outfall Sewer called the Greenway, accessible for walkers and cyclists. The steps are located on the east side of the Greenway, in Abbey Lane just beyond the Abbey Mills Pumping Station (go under the Greenway to reach the steps). From this point on the Greenway there is a panoramic view over the Stratford New City area area. The new plans (Feb2007) suggest this part of the Greenway will still be accessible in 2012.
