An urban menagerie :: TQ3280
I got this from a delightful little book by Helen Long (Bristol, Abson, 1983 ISBN 0-902920-52-9) in which she took her children exploring in the "Square Mile" to find wildlife amongst the densely packed streets. Inevitably, some had disappeared: 30 years is a long time in this ever changing environment. However, I did find others she would not have seen in the eighties. All in all,a very enjoyable afternoon!
Lloyds Bank
Lloyds TSB Bank is a retail bank. It was established in 1995 by the merger of Lloyds Bank, established in Birmingham, England in 1765 and traditionally considered one of the Big Four clearing banks, with the TSB Group which traces its origins to 1810. In 2013 the two separated and now trade separately.
