Stop blocks at the end of the Melbourne Military Railway site
These very solid stop blocks, visible from the Melbourne to Isley Walton road, formed the southern limit of the sidings of the Melbourne Military Railway. It is hard to imagine that during WWII the field behind them was filled with sidings, used to train military personnel in the operation and maintenance of railways.
