Picked Hill
Picked Hill
Picked Hill used to be a place of assembly on Good Friday's according to the Wiltshire Parish records, it is still used as such for people celebrating the Winter & Summer Solstices and crop circles are not uncommon on its flanks either.

A conical hill 202 metres high it marks the Western boundary of the Parish of Wilcot.

Seen here in the snow, which highlight the terracettes on its western flank, which are caused initially by soil slippage and then accentuated by livestock using the small ridges as paths around the hill.
