Footpath towards Limbeck Farm
Footpath towards Limbeck Farm
The farm buildings can be seen ahead. Shakespeare's Way follows this field headland path, with Wootton Wood to the right. The redundant telephone pole is being used to prevent vehicle access along this footpath, although it does seem from the attempt at new plantation that the gap had previously been widened for vehicle access.
Shakespeare's Way

Shakespeare's Way is a 146 mile long distance footpath from Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon to the Globe theatre in London. It follows as nearly as possible a route that Shakespeare may have taken between the two, but using footpaths, quiet lanes and towpaths, rather than his tracks, which are today's main roads.
