This building on Rosebery Avenue is the former headquarters of the Metropolitan Water Board, now converted to housing. It dates from 1915-1920; the 17th century house on the site was demolished but some features retained including the grand staircase, reception hall, carved woodwork, painted ceilings, marble fireplaces, etc. It is now listed grade 2 (list entry number 1195722).
