Swimming Club, Hunsonby
The outdoor swimming pool was built in 1935 close to the bridge over Robberby Water on a site formerly used to wash sheep. It was the earliest built in the area. Open from 9am to 9pm form May until September, a sign shows an adult season ticket costs £25 (£15 or £10 for children depending on age), a weekly ticket for holiday makers £10 (£5 child) or £4 a day (£3 child).

The Club held a swimming gala for their 75th anniversary in July 2012 after unseasonable wet weather resulted in the pool being flooded out on 28th June and having to be emptied, cleaned and refilled.

The Hunsonby village pool is one of a number of community outdoor pools in the Eden valley, with others at Lazonby, Askham, Greystoke, and Shap.
