Groundwater Flooding, Upper Lambourn
Looking like a burst water main, this is a natural spring forcing its way up through the tarmac.
Upper Lambourn suffers very badly in years when groundwater levels are exceptionally high. The streets are awash and road surfaces are wrecked.
This will flow for weeks until the water table goes down again.
