Steep mountain slope beside old quarry
Steep mountain slope beside old quarry
The steep grassy slope is on a northern ridge of Caudale Moor rising to or above Rough Edge. The shattered rock waste with old rails are remnants of the workings of Caudale Quarry which took stone from the eastern face of the ridge. Sheffield Pike is the peak beyond the grassy slope.
