NS2875 : Princes Pier Line at Cartsburn

taken 12 years ago, near to Greenock, Inverclyde, Great Britain

Princes Pier Line at Cartsburn
Princes Pier Line at Cartsburn
This disused line runs parallel with the Wemyss Bay line at Whinhill station, from where this photo was taken. The track is still in-situ for most of that line, but not on this bridge, which has also been cleared of vegetation.

The Victoria Tower at Greenock Town Hall and the cranes at Greenock Ocean Terminal can be seen in the distance. The high walls at Greenock Central station are also visible in the centre of the picture.
