Greenfield Mill and Hey Top
Greenfield Mill and Hey Top
Looking down towards Greenfield Mill from Bank Lane.

Greenfield Mill was originally established as a woollen mill during the late eighteenth century. Many of the workers at were housed in the row of cottages, known as Hey Top, which still sits above the mill. At some time (early 20th century?) the mill was used for manufacturing cigarette paper.
