Pitchcombe House, Pitchcombe
Pitchcombe House, Pitchcombe
An imposing sight so close to a small country road. It dates from c1743, built for Thomas Palling. Quite plain, just platbands, moulded architraves to the windows and a Roman Doric doorcase. Note too the fine chinoiserie railings and vase finials atop the gate piers. Grade II* listed.
