Viewed from a train on the Wemyss Bay to Glasgow line. Construction of a floating jetty for HM Naval Base Clyde, at nearby Faslane is currently underway. The QE2 was fitted-out here forty years ago following her launch from John Brown's at Clydebank about twelve miles upriver.

Helensburgh and Glen Fruin are visible across the Clyde.
