Juggler's Moor, Stanswood
The seaward end of Juggler's Moor, a valley bottom at Stanswood, near Fawley. The valley was tidal for nearly a mile inland, until the great storm of November 1703 (LinkExternal link ) which closed off the mouth of the river with a large shingle bank. The valley is crossed by a number of drainage ditches, one of which lies in the reeds on the left of the image.
