Hull and Selby Railway

The Hull and Selby Railway opened 1840 with its terminus at Manor House Street station. The Railway was acquired by the North Eastern Railway (NER) in 1923. In 1848, the station was superseded by NER's Hull Paragon; thereafter Manor House Street station was primarily used for goods traffic. Wikipedia: LinkExternal link The site of the station was redeveloped for a boat yard and housing. Parts of the station wall remain in situ in Railway Street and Kingston Street.
