Glen Catacol
Glen Catacol
The beautiful sweeping slopes that lead down to Glen Catacol look particularly magnificent when picked out with snow. Glen Catacol runs between Meall nan Damh and Beinn Bharrain on the right and Creag na h-Iolaire on the left.

Glen Catacol
Glen Catacol runs inland from Catacol Bay with Abhainn Mr running along its valley floor. It is a spectacularly lovely valley with Meall nan Leac Sleamhuin on its western side and the crags of Creag na h-Iolaire on the east.
After just over a mile the valley splits with Glen Catacol continuing southwards towards Loch Tanna, while Gleann Diomhan forks off to the southeast before sweeping around Beinn Bhreac to meet Gleann Easan Biorach.
