Fish Island Riviera, Hackney Wick
As seen from the path beside the River Lee Navigational Cut.

Part of Forman's Fish Island. This large warehouse/club, for the duration of the London 2012 Olympic Games created a Riviera-themed hospitality area and beach, complete with palm trees, on the banks of the River Lee. It had a pop-up beach bar, run by Maddox Club, serving cocktails.

In the foreground, is one of the many canal boats that were running along the River Lea during the games.
Lea Navigation (Lee Navigation)

The Lee Navigation is a canalised river incorporating the River Lea (River Lee). It runs from Hertford Castle Weir to the River Thames at Bow Creek; its first lock is Hertford Lock and its last Bow Locks.
