SK2269 : A pair of tunnels

taken 5 years ago, near to Bakewell, Derbyshire, Great Britain

A pair of tunnels
A pair of tunnels
Two tunnels under the embankment of the former Midland Railway line, which now is used as the Monsal Trail. The nearer of the two is for a public footpath, the other I think is a watercourse.

Access to the Monsal Trail should be permissible by way of the flight of wooden steps; however, some public-spirited individual has seen fit to deny access to the steps by the use of two fences and some barbed wire
