NZ1164 : Upstream side of Wylam Bridge

taken 11 years ago, near to Wylam, Northumberland, England

Upstream side of Wylam Bridge
Upstream side of Wylam Bridge
Wylam Bridge was built in 1836, but has been so altered, strengthened and widened that it is hard to tell nowadays. The River Tyne flows very rapidly under the bridge and down to some rapids immediately downstream.
