Egmont Point
A rather small ruin stands on the tip of land above the very low cliff here. The 1889 1:2500 map has a 'Magazine (disused)' here, and the building, but without description, also appears on later maps. Most of this coast is slumping and eroding rapidly, but this point seems rather more stable than elsewhere, so perhaps this is the remains of the magazine. Why one should be built at this rather inaccessible spot is a bit of a mystery.
