Here are some classic signs mounted so that the uninitiated visitor ends up going for a trip around a field. Most get bogged down very quickly praying for the farmer to drag them out with his brand new four wheel drive tractor. If you have a hint of a London accent, this will cost you fifty quid. There is talk that the farmer then pays the council a premium for siting the signs in the appropriate position (allegedly).
